The Thermage FLX technology
Thermage FLX heats the deeper collagen-rich layers of the skin. The applied heat causes collagen to contract and stimulates new collagen to start growing
- Each pulse of the Thermage FLX machine delivers customised radiofrequency to every inch of the treatment area, followed by a double cryogen cooling effect
- Thermage FLX uses AccuREPTM technology that automatically fine-tune each energy pulse to provide more effective radiofrequency energy
- The Thermage FLX has a multi-directional vibrating mechanism allowing for patient’s comfort during treatment
- The Thermage FLX treatment tip is large to generate more heat and energy and can heat more deeply within the skin for better results
The Thermage FLX treatment procedure
- The treatment area is cleaned and topical anaesthesia applied
- A return pad is placed on the upper back with the cord connection off to the side
- A treatment grid is marked on the area
- A coupling gel is applied to the skin. The thermage FLX handpiece is applied on the treatment area following the grid pattern
- During treatment you will feel a warm sensation with vibration followed by a sensation of cooling
- After the treatment there is no or minimal redness. You may see some skin lifting or tightness and this continues to improve over the next few months
- You can resume normal activity after the treatment
